Matthew M. Ross’ directorial debut “Frank and Lola,” which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January, is finally set to get a theatrical release in two dozen markets on December 9th.

CBS has begun development of hourlong drama series “Jumpmen” from former “The Good Wife” executive producer Craig Turk and “Jane the Virgin” executive producer Ben Silverman.

The story centers on Air Force pararescue jumpers who find, treat, and recover disaster victims in the most extreme, impossible circumstances. When a veteran PJ’s daughter becomes the first woman to qualify for his unit, the team’s personal and professional commitments are put to the ultimate test. [Source: Deadline]

Double Lover
French filmmaker Francois Ozon is next set to direct “Double Lover” starring Jeremie Renier and Marine Vacth. The story follows the relationship that develops between a depressed young woman and her therapist, but changes after they move into together and she discovers a secret from his past. Walt Disney Animation Studios has premiered a new clip from their upcoming animated feature “Moana” featuring Dwayne Johnson’s demigod Maui introducing himself to the title character – a young girl (voiced by Auli’i Cravalho) who sets out on a quest across the seas to become a master wayfinder. The film opens in cinemas on November 23rd.
