A Series of Unfortunate Events
Ahead of a new trailer launch tomorrow, Neil Patrick Harris has been revealing photos of his character Count Olaf’s various disguises in the upcoming Netflix series based on the Lemony Snicket’s “A Series of Unfortunate Events” books.

If you’re wondering, yes that’s Harris on the right as ‘the hypnotizing Shirley’. Other photos of his disguises are here, here and here. The show itself premieres on the streaming service on January 13th.

The Ballad of Richard Jewell
Ezra Edelman (“O.J.: Made in America”) is set to make his narrative featur directing debut on “The Ballad of Richard Jewell” for 20th Century Fox.

Jonah Hill and Leonardo DiCaprio star in the film about a security guard (played by Hill) who went from hero to suspect at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. DiCaprio will play his lawyer. [Source: THR]

Guy Pearce, Vanessa Redgrave, Eamon Farren have joined the cast of Fred Schepisi’s drama thriller “Andorra”. Clive Owen, Toni Collette, Gillian Anderson, Joanna Lumley and Riccardo Scamarcio are already onboard.

The story follows an American who settles in the tiny country of Andorra, meets an Australian couple and unsettles the other natives when he becomes linked to a dead body floating in the harbor. Production is scheduled to start in Italy next April. [Source: Variety]

Spider-Man: Homecoming
Actor Jacob Batalon has confirmed he will be playing classic Spider-Man character Ned Leeds in “Spider-Man: Homecoming” for Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures. In this take, Leeds is not a Daily Bugle reporter but rather Peter Parker’s best friend in high school. [Source: KHON2]
