News Bits: Edge, Lasso, Royal, Rabbits

Edge of Nowhere
Insomniac Games have announced a June 6th release date for “Edge of Nowhere,” its upcoming third-person VR adventure game that plays like a variation of H.P. Lovecraft’s “At the Mountains of Madness”. The story follows a man searching for his long, lost fiance in the cold and dangerous expanse of Antarctica. Reality is called into question as he succumbs to moments of utter madness while facing a slew of horrifying creatures and natural hazards.

Lindsey Morgan (“The 100”) has been set as the lead in the independent thriller “Lasso” which Evan Cecil is directing from a script by Roberto Marinas.

Morgan and Andrew Jacobs (“Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones”) play characters working for a senior community center. Their lives are turned upside down when they find themselves fighting to stay alive against a group of psycho, bloodthirsty cowboys from the local rodeo. [Source: Variety]
