To celebrate the 30th anniversary of pioneering sitcom “The Golden Girls” this week, the social media accounts of the “Deadpool” film has had fun with some hand crafted dolls in tribute towards the iconic comedy show.

The Searcher
eOne and Appian Way Productions have optioned Simon Toyne’s new high-concept thriller novel “The Searcher” for television. The book is the first in a proposed series.

The story follows Solomon Creed, a man who has no memory of his past who ends up in a small Arizona town after a small plane crash. To uncover the story of his past, Solomon must first learn the town’s secrets and the truth behind the recent death of a resident. [Source: Deadline]

Doctor Strange
Rachel McAdams has confirmed at the Toronto Film Festival that she has scored the female lead role in “Doctor Strange” at Marvel Studios but wouldn’t say what character she is. McAdams has been rumored to play the role for months now. [Source: ComicBook.com]

Apple TV
