With the Fall TV season now in full swing, a bunch of new trailers for upcoming episodes of shows have now arrived starting with a ‘This Season On’ style trailer for CBS All Access’ “Star Trek Discovery” which launched last weekend to strong ratings. Be warned, the clip contains spoilers for the first two episodes.
Next, TNT has released the teaser trailer for the fourth season of “The Librarians” and have also announced a December 20th airdate for the new season’s two-part premiere which kicks off a batch of twelve episodes.
Starz has premiered the official trailer for the second season of its “The Girlfriend Experience” TV series which returns on November 5th. The story explores the price of intimacy and the high-stakes world of transactional relationships, and does so by following two different narratives this time.
Syfy has unleashed the new trailer for “Happy,” the upcoming TV series adaptation of the Grant Morrison comic about a hitman (Christopher Meloni) who slowly goes mad and begins hallucinating a tiny, winged unicorn named Happy. So begins an orgy of violence as the pair go on a killing spree. “Happy!” premieres on Wednesday, December 6th on SYFY.
FOX’s “X-Men” spin-off TV series “The Gifted” seems to have more going for it than many other new Fall series. Even so, promtion for the show has been on the thin side, which has led to FOX posting the first six minutes of the pilot online. The clip comes just days ahead of the film’s opening on October 2nd.
Following parts of it going online a few months ago, Disney Channel’s full two half-hour “Star Wars Forces of Destiny” specials arrive in October – the first special on Sunday, October 1st the second on Sunday, October 29th. The specials contain a total of eight never-before-seen installments including Han Solo, Hera Syndulla, Finn, Maz Kanata and others.
To close out the bumper promo list today are new season trailers for two of The CW’s biggest shows – “Arrow” and “Riverdale”. Expect more action and mystery respectively from the shows based on the “Green Arrow” and “Archie” comics. Both shows return next week.
