We only had the first trailer a month ago, but now the full preview is out for “Moonlight” director Barry Jenkins’ new third feature “If Beale Street Could Talk”. The clip comes following rave reviews from the Toronto Film Festival where it debuted.
An adaptation of James Baldwin’s novel, the story follows a newly engaged and heavily pregnant Harlem woman who races against time to free her falsely accused husband from prison before the birth of their child.
Kiki Layne, Stephan James, Teyonah Parris, Regina King, Colman Domingo plus Diego Luna, Pedro Pascal, Dave Franco, Brian Tyree Henry, Ed Skrein and Finn Wittrock co-star in the film which Jenkins also penned. Annapurna Pictures is set to release it theatrically on November 30th.
