Open Road Films has released a new trailer for “Marshall,” the Chadwick Boseman-led biopic about legendary attorney and future Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.
The true story tale deals with Marshall’s greatest challenge in his early days – a fight he fought alongside attorney Sam Friedman (Josh Gad), a young lawyer with no experience in criminal law.
The case in question involved a black chauffeur Joseph Spell (Sterling K. Brown), accused by his white employer, Eleanor Strubing (Kate Hudson), of sexual assault and attempted murder.
Dan Stevens, James Cromwell and Keesha Sharp co-star in the Reginald Hudlin-directed film which opens in cinemas on October 13th.
