Two new one-sheets have been released by Warner Bros. Pictures today ahead of new trailers to launch – one later today, the other in the next few weeks.
The first is for Steven Spielberg’s “Ready Player One” starring Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, Mark Rylance, Simon Pegg, T.J. Miller, Hannah John-Kamen and Ben Mendelsohn. Previously teased at Comic Con back in July, the first official trailer is debuting this morning at CCXP in Brazil and will go online shortly after.
The other is for the upcoming reboot of the “Tomb Raider” film franchise. Alicia Vikander takes on the role of the young and resolute Lara Croft at the start of her career and is inspired by the 2013 game reboot. Dominic West, Daniel Wu and Walton Goggins also star in the film.
While the first poster for ‘Tomb’ scored criticism for a Photoshop fail that gave Vikander a giraffe neck, there’s no problem this time out. On the other hand ‘Player’ has already scored criticism for giving Sheridan enormously long legs.
“Tomb Raider” opens March 16th, “Ready Player One” opens March 30th.
