Eidos Montreal has revealed that the upcoming “Shadow of the Tomb Raider” game has put a large focus on allowing players to customize the gameplay experience to their liking – especially in terms of difficulty.
The result moves past the easy-normal-hard-insane settings of most games and includes fine-tuning of all the individual elements. This includes toggling the combat, exploration and puzzle difficulty elements separately allowing you to simplify the one you don’t like while making the one you do a real challenge.
It also includes controlling the level of camera shake, choosing whether to hold down rather than mash buttons, hold the thumbstick forward rather than having to rotate it, adjust the color of subtitles and what information the subtitles will convey, and more.
