Starz has premiered the official trailer for their original limited series “Howards End,” a new adaptation of the beloved classic E.M Forster novel and first television adaptation from Academy Award-winning screenwriter Kenneth Lonergan (“Manchester by the Sea”).
The story follows two independent and unconventional sisters, Margaret (Hayley Atwell) and Helen Schlegel (Philippa Coulthard), seeking love and meaning as they navigate the ever-changing world of Edwardian London.
Since the death of their parents and despite their interfering Aunt Juley’s (Tracey Ullman) best intentions, the sisters lead independent and slightly unorthodox lives. Julia Ormond, Matthew Macfadyen, Joseph Quinn and Rosalind Eleazar co-star in the four episode series which recently aired on BBC One in the UK and will air on Starz in the U.S in April 2018.
Also today, a second teaser for Netflix’s new cyberpunk series “Altered Carbon” arrives and this one shows off a better idea of the scale of this sci-fi series set in Bay City circa 2384. In this story wealthy people can afford to have their mind moved from body to body – becoming effectively immortal. Will Yun Lee and Joel Kinnaman co-star in the series which launches February 2nd.
