Production has wrapped on James Gunn’s “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” and continues apace on “Fast 8,” but that hasn’t stopped those involved posting up new photos from the projects.
First up, James Gunn has used his Instagram account to post a photo over the weekend celebrating the 300th day until the release of Marvel’s ‘Guardians’ sequel. The shot includes him and the back of star Chris Pratt in costume as Star-Lord in the second film which opens May next year.
As part of the image he also indicates a trailer will be screened in Hall H at the San Diego Comic Con next week, and that the con is using a new technology this year which will make bootleg recordings less likely. For those outside Hall H, the first trailer won’t hit until later in the year.
Next up, Dwayne Johnson has used his Instagram account showing off a photo of himself in his Luke Hobbs character being sent to federal prison for crimes of which we don’t know at this point. The F. Gary Gray-helmed “Fast 8” is currently on track for an April 2017 release.
