Netflix has finally officially unveiled plans to deliver new episodes of “Gilmore Girls” following word about such a move back in October.
Netflix will bring back series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and her husband, executive producer Daniel Palladino, who infamously left the series before the show’s seventh and final season in 2007.
Actors Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Sean Gunn and Keiko Agena are all confirmed to be returning for the new episodes.
The streaming giant did not confirm the reports that the project would consist of four 90-minute telefilms which will wrap up the series along the lines that Sherman-Palladino originally intended.
