Whilst we saw the online only Comic Con trailer a few months ago, Roadshow Entertainment has sent out a press release confirming that the official teaser trailer for George Miller’s “Mad Max: Fury Road” will hit the satellite feeds tomorrow and should be online on or near that time.
The trailer is set to have its ‘Worldwide Satellite Trailer Debut’ on Wednesday December 10th at 10am US-PST, 6pm UK-GMT and 5am on Thursday December 11th Australian-EST. Expect Warner Bros. Pictures in various countries to post the clip online around that time as they will be issuing online streaming links once the trailer is available. Here’s the official synopsis that came with the release:
Haunted by his turbulent past, Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy) believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa (Charlize Theron).
They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne), from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.
“Mad Max: Fury Road” is scheduled for release in cinemas in May.
