‘Zephyr’ is back with some brief updates from the Yari Film Group and some 2008 releases:
“Resurrecting the Champ,” a boxing drama starring Josh Hartnett and Sameul L. Jackson, has been delayed from August 3rd, 2007 to August 24th 2007.
“Addicted,” a drama-thriller starring Sarah Michelle Garner, has been delayed again. It has been delayed from October 12th to November 2nd to face “American Gangster” and “Bee Movie.”
“The Accidental Husband,” a romantic comedy starring Uma Thurman and Colin Firth, has been delayed a whole year to Winter 2008. Considering that filming started only a few months ago, there may be some film issues.
Two films have been set for August 8th, 2008: “The Pineapple Express,” a Judd Apatow-produced comedy starring Seth Rogan and James Franco; and “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2,” which apparently will return the entire cast. Depending that both films may have twice as much screens as “Journey 3-D,” which realistically would only be in 1500 theatres with Digital 3-D capability.
“The Express,” a Universal sports biopic about the first African-American Heisman Trophy winner, will face “The City of Ember” on October 10th, 2008.
