Latino Review has an exclusive report on two new major directing gigs for upcoming films:
Tom Vaughan (“Starter For Ten”) has replaced Julian Farino to helm Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz comedy “What Happens In Vegas” for 20th Century Fox.
More interesting is that award-winning commercials director Joe Kosinski is attached to the long-gestating remake of 1976 sci-fi classic “Logan’s Run” for Warner Bros. Pictures.
The film was originally set up with Bryan Singer to direct and write the initial story upon completing “Superman Returns,” but Singer’s schedule is already booked with other projects and the project was shelved for a myriad of reasons a while back.
Jayson Rothwell and Travis Beachman are in talks to pen the story of a society that kills their population when they turn 21 and a young man who plans a daring escape on the eve of his fateful birthday.
