New Details On “Rogue One” Vader Scene

One of the most anticipated elements of the upcoming “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is the return of Darth Vader to the big screen in a film in which he finally gets some proper screen time again.

The Sith Lord is only expected to have a minor presence, and has briefly been teased in the film’s trailer so far. All we know of his role is that he’ll share scenes with the film’s main antagonist Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn).

Today, Star Wars News Net got a hold of an apparent description of a scene depicting a conversation Krennic has with Vader.

The two reportedly have a heated exchange shortly before the Death Star fires on Jedha, a spiritual moon that has a strong connection to the Force. Their source says: “Vader wants to discuss the reason why they shouldn’t force their hand until the right time.” Krennic on the other hand is eager to demonstrate its power and please The Emperor.

The trailers certainly suggest Vader has more than one scene in the film, but we won’t know how much until the film begins screening in the next few weeks.
