A bunch of new release dates have just been set.
First up, Lionsgate have changed plans for Woody Allen’s “Cafe Society”. Originally set for a wide release on August 12th, it will now open limited on July 15th and expand to wide by July 29th.
Lionsgate have also set an awards-season date of October 21st this year for a limited release of its drama “American Pastoral,” and moved up the release of the in development “My Little Pony” film by a month to October 6th 2017.
Next up, Paramount Pictures has announced a December 9th wide release date for their all-star comedy ensemble “Office Christmas Party”. Jennifer Aniston, Olivia Munn, Jason Bateman, T.J. Miller and Kate McKinnon star.
Finally, the Alicia Vikander-led period drama “Tulip Fever” has set a limited July 15 release date in the United States, while Screen Media Films has acquired U.S. rights to writer-director Michel Gondry’s “Microbe & Gasoline” with a platform rollout commencing July 1st in New York.
