“The Witcher” creators CD Projekt Red have released a new making of featurette for their highly anticipated genre game “Cyberpunk 2077” which is confirmed to be at this year’s E3 in June.
While fans are hoping it’ll be out either late 2019 or early 2020, the new video says the game “will be ready when it’s ready” and there’s still a lot of work to be done.
Set in a bright futuristic metropolis with a dark underbelly, corporations control the world from their skyscraper fortresses, enforcing their rule with armies of cyborg assassins. Boostergangs roam a shattered urban wilderness, killing and looting.
The title ranks high on many people’s most anticipated games currently in the works that haven’t set release dates including “Death Stranding,” “The Last of Us Part II,” “Halo Infinite,” “Ghost of Tsushima,” “Skull and Bones” and “In the Valley of the Gods”.
The company first announced the game back in 2012 and effectively went silent about it for over five years, until 2018’s E3 when a massive game playthrough clip was shown and later went online.
