New “Captain America” Trailer Breaks Records

Last week’s first trailer for “Captain America: Civil War” has broken records with Marvel Studios reporting that the clip debuted online to 61 million global views in its first 24 hours.

That almost doubled the previous record, held by the first trailer for Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron” which debuted to 34 million views in 2014.

Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr.’s comments during the tonight show talk that saw the trailer’s launch has also fueled speculation the pair will make appearances in the upcoming solo “Spider-Man” film says ComicBook.com.

At the same time the trailer has inspired parodies from a version cut to Adele’s “Hello,” to this rom-com take on the Marvel universe below:

“Captain America: Civil War” will be released on May 6th 2016.
