A couple of key new photos today starting with Paramount Pictures revealing two Decepticon antagonists that will appear in the upcoming “Transformers” spin-off film “Bumblebee” which opens December 21st.
Angela Bassett will voice the red Plymouth Satellite Decepticon named Shatter, Justin Theroux is the blue AMC Javelin Decepticon named Dropkick. A third flying Decepticon is also in the film but the specifics of the character have not been revealed yet.
Next comes a shot of Djimon Hounsou in full make-up and CG regalia as The Fisherman King alongside Fisherman Queen (Natalia Safran), Princess (Sophia Forrest) and a royal guard in James Wan’s “Aquaman” movie which opens in December.
The character is reportedly one of seven Kings of Atlantis who meets with the film’s villain Orm (Patrick Wilson) in order to hear his proposal to declare war on the surface world. Hounsou represents one of the most evolved kingdoms which consists primarily of artistic and cerebral types.
Finally, there’s a new photo from “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald,” the second chapter of what is intended to be a five-part film franchise, with the shot showcasing a flashback scene within the “Harry Potter” prequel spin-off.
Said scene stars Joshua Shea as a younger version of Eddie Redmayne’s Newt Scamander as he’s being taught by Jude Law’s Professor Albus Dumbledore who end up striking up a personal mentorship of the character. That film opens November 16th.
