NBC greenlit three one-hour pilots yesterday, one of which was a new take on the classic 70’s series “The Bionic Woman” reports Reuters.
“Bionic,” which has received a cast-contingent order, is a reconceptualization of the show about a woman whose body is mechanically enhanced to save her life. Laeta Kalogridis and David Eick will serve as the writers/executive producers.
Reuters also reports that the network has given the go-ahead on “Chuck”, a high-concept action dramedy twentysomething spies from “The O.C.” creator Josh Schwartz.
The third series is “Fort Pit”, a comedic drama from “Rescue Me” creators Denis Leary and Peter Tolan set at one of the most incompetent police precincts in Brooklyn.
