Though the big announcement isn’t for a few days yet, new details about the next game in Ubisoft’s popular “Assassin’s Creed” series have arrived. The codename “Assassin’s Creed: Victory” appears to be out, rather the new game’s title will be “Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate”.
According to Polygon, the game aims to “transport millions of gamers to an astonishing recreation of London during the Industrial Revolution where they will find themselves immersed in a game world they’ll have to see to believe.”
Players will take on the role of London-based Assassin Jacob Frey, and a replicate of his shilling necklace will be a GameStop pre-order bonus. Further details are not available at this time.
This also marks the first game in the main series primarily developed by Ubisoft Quebec rather than Ubisoft Montreal. The company will officially announce the game on Tuesday at 9am US-PDT. It’s expected to hit stores around November.
