Netflix used the Golden Globes last night to have fun with their upcoming “A Series of Unfortunate Events” TV series.
Based on the internationally best-selling series of books by Lemony Snicket, the story recounts the tragic tale of the Baudelaire orphans whose evil guardian Count Olaf will stop at nothing to get his hands on their inheritance.
The siblings must outsmart Olaf at every turn, foiling his many devious plans and disguises, in order to discover clues to their parents’ mysterious death.
Neil Patrick Harris’ Count Olaf character wins all the awards in one of the new spots for the eight-episode series, while the orphans themselves are the focus of another. ‘Unfortunate Events’ kicks off on the streaming service on Friday, January 13th.
