Netflixs She Ra S2 Set For Late April

Netflix has confirmed that not only has it renewed its animated series reboot “She-Ra and the Princesses of Power” for a second season, but it has set an April 26th launch date.

The thirteen-episode first season, which re-imagined the iconic 1985 “He-Man” spin-off, premiered in November to great reviews praising its style, diversity, excellent LGBT representation and quality of the character development.

The story follows an orphan named Adora (Aimee Carrero), who leaves behind her former life in the evil Horde when she discovers a magic sword that transforms her into the mythical warrior princess She-Ra.

Along the way, she finds a new family in the Rebellion as she unites a group of magical princesses in the ultimate fight against evil.
