Netflixs Murder Mystery Begins Shooting

Filming has officially begun on “Murder Mystery,” a new Netflix original comedy feature that reunites actors “Just Go With It” stars Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.

Sandler plays a New York cop who finally takes his wife on a long-promised European trip. A chance meeting on the flight with a mysterious man (Luke Evans) gets them invited to an intimate family gathering on the Super Yacht of elderly billionaire Malcolm Quince (Terence Stamp).

When Quince is murdered, they become the prime suspects in a modern day whodunit. Shooting is taking place in the harbor of Santa Margherita Ligure around Italy’s Lake Como. Gemma Arterton, David Walliams, Luis Gerardo Mendez, Shioli Kutsunam, Adeel Akhtarm and Dany Boon co-star.

Kyle Newacheck (“Game Over, Man!,” “Workaholics”) directs from a script by James Vanderbilt (“The Amazing Spiderman,” “Zodiac”) with Sandler’s Happy Madison label producing. Netflix launches the film in 2019.
