Netflix’s “Jessica Jones” Gets A Tie-In Comic

The first crossover of two of Marvel and Netflix’s new properties has just taken place, albeit off screen.

ComiXology and Marvel’s own digital comic store have released a new and free twelve-page “Jessica Jones” digital comic which sees the down-on-her-luck private eye teaming with the ‘Man without Fear’ himself Daredevil for the first time.

In the story she comes face to face with Turk, a criminal whom appeared on “Daredevil” who tells her all about the costumed hero trying to clean up Hell’s Kitchen. The comic is penned by the same team behind the 2001 “Alias” comic book series in which the character first appeared – namely writer Brian Michael Bendis, drawer Michael Gaydos and cover art illustrator David Mack.

The issue offers the first real chance to see Jones (Krysten Ritter) in action following in the wake of several teaser trailers for the new series which kicks off November 20th on the streaming service. You can check out the first few pages here.
