Netflixs Dumplin Set For December 7th

Netflix has announced that their Jennifer Aniston-led “Dumplin'” film will launch on the streaming service on December 7th with the soundtrack releasing a week earlier on November 30th.

Anne Fletcher (“The Proposal”) helms the film in which Danielle Macdonald plays the plus-size teenage daughter of a former beauty queen (Jennifer Aniston) who signs up for her mom’s small Texas town pageant as a protest. Things escalate when other contestants follow in her footsteps.

Odeya Rush, Dove Cameron and Harold Perrineau co-star. The film boasts six re-recordings of Dolly Parton songs, and six whole new songs penned by Parton herself and Linda Perry. Sia, Miley Cyrus and Miranda Lambert along with numerous other major artists all contributed to the soundtrack.
