Tim Key (“Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa”) has joined the cast of “The End of the F’ing World” for the second season of the Channel 4 & Netflix drama. In addition, the first photo can be seen above showing Jessica Barden’s Alyssa in a wedding dress standing outside a cafe.
Key will play motel owner Gus in the new series, which will launch in the UK on Channel 4 on Monday November 4th. The entire season being uploaded to streaming service All4 soon after in the UK, while Netflix will get it on November 5th.
That’s not the only Netflix series to get teased today as the streamer has set an October 24th premiere date for its post-apocalyptic teen series “Daybreak” and released that show’s full trailer.
Set in the city of Glendale, California, the story is described as part samurai saga, part endearing coming-of-age story, and “part Battle Royale” as Colin Ford plays a teenager trying to reconnect with the girl he loves.
Matthew Broderick, Krysta Rodriguez, Sophie Simnett, Austin Crute, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Cody Kearsley, Jeanté Godlock, and Gregory Kasyan co-star in the series which Aron Eli Coleite, Brad Peyton, and Jeff Fierson executive produce.
