The video streaming service Netflix has announced premiere dates for several of its upcoming original series.
Things kick off with “Between” sometime in May. The Canadian sci-fi drama follows a pregnant teenage daughter of a minister in a small town who copes with a mysterious disease which has killed everybody over the age of 21.
That’s followed by “Sense8” on June 5th. The sci-fi drama teams “Babylon 5” creator J. Michael Straczynski with the Wachowski siblings and deals with eight strangers from different parts of the world who suddenly become mentally and emotionally linked.
A week later on June 12th sees the third season of the service’s acclaimed prison drama “Orange Is the New Black” going online. Then the much talked about “Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp,” the prequel limited series to the cult comedy film, will debut on July 17th.
The drug-cartel drama “Narcos” and Spanish-language comedy “Club de Cuervos” have yet to be scheduled.
