Netflix has set a November 29th limited release in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and London for “Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle,” the upcoming Andy Serkis-directed big-budget fantasy film adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book”.
In the film, a boy named Mowgli is torn between two worlds, accepts his destiny and becomes a legend…[He] has never truly belonged in either the wilds of the jungle or the civilized world of man [and] now must navigate the inherent dangers of each on a journey to discover where he truly belongs.
The likes of Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Benedict Cumberbatch, Freida Pinto, Matthew Rhys and Naomie Harris lend their voices to the project. Following its limited theatrical run, “Mowgli” will be available worldwide on the service from December 7th. Check out the just-released full trailer below:
