Netflix Renews “The OA,” “Travelers” & “Love”

Netflix used a special event today at the Hudson Mercantile in New York to promote a bunch of their upcoming slate in the first half of 2017 along with revealing several announcements.

The most notable was that of series renewals. New shows “Travelers” and “The OA” have both scored a second season, the Judd Apatow-produced “Love” has been given a third, and “Project MC2” will get a third AND fourth season.

They’ve also set a March 17th premiere for kids series “Julie’s Greenroom,” March 24th premiere for the third season of “Grace and Frankie,” an April 21st premiere for the new series “Girlboss,” and an April 28th premiere for the documentary “Casting Jon Benet”.

Finally, Patricia Clarkson and Campbell Scott have joined the cast of the fifth season of “House of Cards,” and two new series – “Free Rein” and a “Castlevania” TV series, are on the way for a late 2017 premiere.
