Just ahead of the show’s launch in a few hours, Netflix has announced that joining the second season of its original series “Stranger Things” will be the aftershow “Beyond Stranger Things” which will launch around the same time on the streaming service.
Comedian and filmmaker Jim Rash will host the aftershow which “tackles inspiration for the series, behind-the-scenes stories, and analyzes every aspect of the second season – answering all the burning questions” according to a press release.
Creators Matt and Ross Duffer, executive producer Shawn Levy, and cast members like Sean Astin, Linnea Berthelsen, Millie Bobby Brown, Natalia Dyer, Brett Gelman, David Harbour, Randy Havens, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Dacre Montgomery, Paul Reiser, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, and Finn Wolfhard will all appear.
“Stranger Things” joins the ranks of “The Walking Dead,” “Better Call Saul,” “Teen Wolf,” “Orphan Black,” “Mr. Robot,” “Game of Thrones” and “Star Trek Discovery” have all received the aftershow treatment in recent years.
The nine-episode second season of the supernatural meets 1980s nostalgia series begins October 27th.
