Netflix has today announced that they’re teaming up with comedian Gabriel ‘Fluffy’ Iglesias for three new projects – a multi-cam comedy series and two stand-up comedy specials.
In the multi-cam comedy series, Iglesias plays a good-natured public high school teacher who works at his alma mater teaching gifted but misfit kids. He not only helps unlock their full potential, but must save them from being ‘counselled out’ by a bully bureaucrat Assistant Principal.
Iglesias and Kevin Hench will executive produce ten half-hour episodes. Additionally, two stand-up comedy specials will be taped during the comedian’s current world tour “One Show Fits All” with the second one slated on a future date.
Iglesias can next be heard voicing Sprinkles the dog in the upcoming film “Show Dogs” and has had voice roles recently in “Ferdinand,” “Coco” and “The Star”.
