Netflix Plans “Full House” Revival Series

All of a sudden, revivals of 1990s TV series have suddenly become a big thing.

Following in the wake of news that “Twin Peaks,” “The X-Files,” and “Coach” are all getting revivals, TV Line reports that Netflix is close to going forward with “Fuller House,” a 13-episode continuation of the ABC sitcom “Full House”.

Set two decades after the original eight-season long series, the new show would focus on the now adult Tanner daughter Candace Cameron Bure as D.J. and Andrea Barber as her BFF Kimmy.

John Stamos, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier are all reportedly being eyed to make guest appearances, with Stamos having a producer role. Jeff Franklin, who created the original show, will executive produce the new series alongside Thomas L. Miller and Robert L. Boyett.
