Netflix Plans An Unsolved Mysteries Reboot

Netflix has announced plans for a reboot of the true crime meets the paranormal docuseries “Unsolved Mysteries”.

Twelve episodes of the series have been ordered and will use reenactments in a documentary format to profile real-life mysteries and unsolved crimes and cases involving missing persons and unexplained paranormal events.

Each episode will focus on one mystery. Shawn Levy (“Stranger Things”) and his 21 Laps Entertainment company will executive produce along with original creators John Cosgrove and Terry Dunn Meurer. Meurer will showrun.

Robert Stack hosted the original series which ran for over 500 episodes between 1987 and 2010.
