Netflix Drops “Haters,” Picks Up “Twelve”

Netflix has cancelled the scripted series “Haters Back Off” starring Miranda Sings (aka Colleen Ballinger) after two seasons.

The series delves into the oddball family life of Sings, a confident, totally untalented star on the rise, who continues to fail upward by the power of her belief that she was born famous – it’s just that no one knows it yet.

While they’re not picking that show up for more episodes, they have announced a pickup of the Julia Vickerman produced animated comedy series “Twelve Forever” for airing in 2019.

The series centers on 12-year-old Reggie, whose desire to remain a child is so powerful it creates a fantasy world in which she never has to grow up. She’s joined by her friends Todd and Esther, who visit this amazing world to live out their superhero fantasies and escape the responsibilities of impending adulthood.
