Netflix, DeGeneres Plan Dr. Seuss Series

Netflix is teaming up with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres for a new TV series adaptation of the classic 1960 Dr. Seuss kids book “Green Eggs and Ham”.

A thirteen episode order has been made which will hit the streaming service in 2018 and will be available exclusively in all Netflix territories.

DeGeneres says no expense has been spared as it’s “going to be cutting-edge animation: It’s never been done on television before. It’s very, very cool.”

“The Lego Movie 2” co-writer Jared Stern will pen the script and executive produce, as will DeGeneres, Jeff Kleeman, Mike Karz, and David Dobkin. The deal comes after more than a year of negotiation.
