Netflix Cancels American Vandal Series

Netflix has cancelled its half-hour mockumentary series “American Vandal,” one month after the launch of its second season in September.

A Peabody Award-winning spoof of the true crime documentary genre, the first season of the show followed two high school students as they tried to determine if one of their classmates spray painted penises onto over two dozen faculty cars as he was accused of doing.

Tyler Alvarez, Griffin Gluck, Jimmy Tatro, Melvin Gregg, and Travis Tope starred in the series from creators Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault. Other platforms have reportedly expressed interest in continuing the series.
