Neeson, Fiennes Joins “Titans” Remake

Liam Neeson is set and and Ralph Fiennes is in negotiations to play warring gods in Warner Bros. and Legendary’s remake of 80’s Greek mythology classic “Clash of the Titans” says The Hollywood Reporter.

Neeson is playing Zeus, the wise yet sometimes ill-tempered king of the gods and father of Perseus (Sam Worthington). Laurence Olivier played Zeus in the original.

Fiennes will play Hades, ruler of the underworld who aims to overtake Zeus and rule over all. Hades did not appear in the original film.

Mads Mikkelsen, Gemma Arterton and Alexa Davalos also star. Louis Leterrier (:The Incredible Hulk”) helms the sword & sandal actioneer which kicks off filming in the UK later this month.
