She may be on the ‘Guardians’ team now, but don’t expect Karen Gillan’s Nebula to change her nature in her next onscreen appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In fact, the actress has revealed to ComicBook.com that her return in the upcoming “Avengers: Infinity War” will really examine just how much torture and pain she suffered at the hands of her adopted father Thanos, and it’s more than you might think:
“Without giving away any spoilers. We’re definitely going to continue the arc for Nebula and find out more about her past. And actually, we’re going to find out that it’s even worse than we know. We’re going to see her confront all of it. It’s going to be like an emotional explosion.”
The new film will focus heavily on Thanos and his Black Order with the ‘Guardians’ characters all playing a big part in the action. “Avengers: Infinity War” recently wrapped filming and is set to hit cinemas on May 4th, 2018.
