Following a critically acclaimed debut season which ended in a decidedly unexpected and daring place, NBC has today revealed that it has renewed “The Good Place” for a second season.
Another thirteen episodes of the series from producer Michael Schur (“The Office,” “Parks and Recreation”) are on the way. Cast members Ted Danson, Kristen Bell, William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, Manny Jacinto and D’Arcy Carden.
The series has averaged a 1.9 rating in adults 18-49 and 6.1 million viewers overall in Live+& figures from Nielsen Media Research. That improves its timeslot by 36% over last season for the network. “The Good Place” has also generated a strong audience amongst high income earners.
