With the Television Critics Association press tour continuing this week, a number of shows are releasing promo trailers for their upcoming seasons.
First up, Netflix has dropped the first trailer for the third season of drug cartel drama “Narcos” which launches on Netflix on September 1st. With the hunt for Pablo Escobar over, the DEA turns its attention to the powerful Cali Cartel and its four leaders.
With Boyd Holbrook’s DEA agent from the previous seasons is out, replaced by two inexperienced new agents Chris Feistl (Michael Stahl-David) and Daniel Van Ness (Matt Whelan). Pedro Pascal returns as DEA agent Javier Pena.
Next up, WGN America has acquired the U.S. rights to the Anna Paquin-led eight episodes drama series “Bellevue” with plans for a 2018 release.
Allen Leech and Shawn Doyle also star in the series about a small town, rocked by a young woman’s murder two decades before, who fear the killer may be back. Paquin plays a detective trying to solve the case.
Then there’s a trailer for the fourth and final season of AMC’s “Halt and Catch Fire” with the series jumping forward in time from the 1980s to the 1990s and the beginning of the online age. Lee Pace, Scoot McNairy, Mackenzie Davis, Kerry Bishé, Toby Huss, and Anna Chlumsky all return for the new episodes which begin August 19th.
Finally, DreamWorks Animation and Netflix have released the official trailer for the third season of “Voltron Legendary Defender” which debuts on Netflix this Friday, August 4th with seven all-new episodes. The six episode fourth season isn’t far behind and will debut in October.
