Naomi Watts is in negotiations to join Brie Larson in Destin Daniel Cretton’s comedic drama film adaptation of Jeannette Walls’ memoir “The Glass Castle” at Lionsgate.
Marti Noxon, Cretton and Andrew Lanham penned the script which follows a successful young woman who was raised by dysfunctional and nonconformist parents. Her world gets turned upside down when they move to New York to be near her.
Woody Harrelson is on board as her alcoholic father, Watts will play her eccentric mother. Gil Netter is producing and filming begins in June in Montreal.
