Must Read Doco Becomes A Film

Director Alan Poul (“Swingtown,” “Rome”) and screenwriter Craig Wright (“Brothers & Sisters,” “Dirty Sexy Money”) are set to turn Morgan Dews’ documentary “Must Read After My Death” into a narrative feature says The Hollywood Reporter.

‘Death’ is drawn from 8mm films, tape recordings and written materials left behind by his grandmother, who died in 2001.

It offers a portrait of a suburban couple in 1960s Connecticut who attempt to combine a traditional life with an open marriage and the wife’s desire to break free of conventional expectations.

Dews’ documentary opened at the Quad Cinemas in New York this week and at Laemmle Sunset 5 in Los Angeles this coming Friday.
