TV mega-producer Ryan Murphy has announced his third Netflix series – “Hollywood”.
Dubbed a “love letter to the Golden Age of Tinseltown,” the project has scored a straight-to-series order at the streaming giant. Further plot specifics are under wraps. Murphy co-created the series with Ian Brennan (“Scream Queens,” “Glee”).
Murphy previously set up the shows “Ratched” starring Sarah Paulson and “The Politician” starring Ben Platt at Netflix, but those were under his 20th Century Fox Television deal. This is his first fully original Netflix series.
