Director Rob Cohen has updated his blog for “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” with some details on how the last stages of post-production are going.
The film, including all its 949 visual effects shots, has to be complete and locked by July 3rd in order to make the August 1st date for release with 4,000+ prints. They’ve completed 783 visual effects so far.
A 10-day scoring session in London is complete and dubbing is presently underway in which the various sound effects, dialogue elements and score are balanced together. The film’s final runtime clocks in at 114 minutes.
