Moss, Zegers, Rennie Are Normal

Carrie-Anne Moss (“The Matrix,” “Disturbia”), Kevin Zegers (“Transamerica,” “Dawn of the Dead”), Callum Keith Rennie (TV’s “Battlestar Galactica”) and Cameron Bright (“Birth,” “X-Men: The Last Stand”) are joining Carl Bessai’s “Normal,” a drama about the impact of a deadly traffic crash.

In “Normal,” Moss plays Catherine, a mother filled with rage and unable to recover from the death of her teenage son in a car crash says The Hollywood Reporter.

Rennie plays Walt, a literature professor trying to overcome his guilt from the accidental killing.

Zegers plays a young thief involved in a taboo love affair with his stepmother whose life becomes intertwined with the other characters.

Bright plays Catherine’s 12-year-old son, Brady. Principal photography is underway on the project penned by Travis McDonald and Carl Bessai.

Rennie will also join Zooey Deschanel, Alan Cumming, Richard Dreyfuss, Neal McDonough and Raoul Trujillo on the Sci Fi Channel’s upcoming miniseries “Tin Man,” a new take on L. Frank Baum’s classic novel “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”.
