Pierre Morel (“Taken”), Sylvain White (“The Losers”) and Scott Stewart (“Priest”) have emerged as candidates to direct the film adaptation of the board game “Ouija” for Universal Pictures and Platinum Dunes reports Deadline.

Universal plans to get the film into production next summer for a release Thanksgiving 2012, making it the second film based on a Hasbro property after Peter Berg’s tentpole feature “Battleship” opening May 2012.
