THQ Nordic has announced that new entries in their “Saints Row” and “Dead Island” game franchises are in development as part of a new report to investors via their official site.
Volition is reportedly “deep in development” on another mainline entry in the “Saints Row” franchise, the fifth one overall in the series and the first full entry since 2013.
Meanwhile “Dead Island 2” is still in the works, but developer Dambuster Studios is taking over from Sumo Digital to create the game internally for the company.
Fishlabs is working on a new IP, as well as a number of unannounced projects for them. Finally, “Timesplitters” series creator Steve Ellis is set to work with THQ Nordic and Deep Silver to plot the future course for that franchise.
The news comes ahead of the Gamescom convention next week.
