A few minor casting bits today for the three biggest superhero projects hitting cinemas next Summer.
Brett Cullen (“Lost,” “Ghost Rider”) and Chris Ellis (“Transformers,” “Armageddon”) have signed on for Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises” as a judge and a priest respectively according to Variety.
Meanwhile, Stan Lee says his cameo in “The Amazing Spider-Man” takes place in a library setting during a massive brawl between Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) and the Lizard (Rhys Ifans).
Lee revealed that he plays a librarian who doesn’t notice the battle taking place around him as he stamps books and listens to music.
Finally, despite reports, Felicia Day doesn’t look to have joined the cast of “The Avengers”
The film’s IMDb page indicated she would play Abigail Brand, leader of S.W.O.R.D. (Sentient World Observation and Response Department), an off-shoot of S.H.I.E.L.D. which deals with preventing extraterrestrial threats.
After the rumors surfaced, Day shot out a tweet saying “Wow, I log off for a few hours, crazy rumors flying around. As cool as it would be, they are not true. Love you all!”.
